Project Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
Vantage Striping LLC
These Project Terms & Conditions apply to all parking lot striping, pavement marking, sign installation, and related services (“Services”).
1. Scope of Work
Includes site layout, surface preparation (standard level), application of paint/thermoplastic, glass beads, ADA-compliant markings, symbols, arrows, stop bars, hash areas, cleanup, and final walkthrough.
2. Client Responsibilities
-
Provide accurate site dimensions, plans, photos, access information, and any known hazards
-
Obtain all necessary permits, approvals, traffic control plans, and authorizations if required by local jurisdiction, fire marshal, or property rules (Note: Routine striping/restriping on private commercial property typically does not require a city building permit in Richardson (75080), Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, or surrounding North Texas areas. However, compliance with ADA/Texas Accessibility Standards and local fire lane codes is mandatory.)
-
Ensure the site is reasonably accessible and free of vehicles, equipment, and major obstructions on scheduled day(s)
-
Arrange and pay for traffic control devices/personnel unless explicitly included in our quote
3. Surface Preparation & Site Conditions
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, dirt, loose aggregate, previous coatings, sealcoat residue, or contaminants that affect adhesion. We perform standard sweeping/blowing as part of the quoted scope. If significant debris removal, power washing, scraping, grinding, or additional preparation is required beyond normal expectations, we may perform such work for an additional fee via change order, or we may require the client to complete it prior to our arrival.
4. Weather & Scheduling Policy
Work is highly weather-dependent. We will not apply paint or thermoplastic if:
-
Ambient or surface temperature is below 50°F or above manufacturer maximum
-
Rain, fog, or precipitation is occurring or expected within 24 hours
-
Relative humidity or dew point creates condensation risk
Weather-related delays do not constitute breach and do not entitle Client to cancellation without forfeiture of deposit or payment for work/materials already completed.
5. Materials & Compliance
We use high-quality, low-VOC or zero-VOC paints, reflective glass beads, and thermoplastic materials compliant with ADA, MUTCD, Texas MUTCD, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
6. Change Orders
Any change to scope, layout, materials, or schedule must be authorized in writing and may adjust price and timeline.
7. Inspection & Acceptance
Client must inspect and notify us in writing of any claimed defects within five (5) business days after completion. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance.
8. Dispute Resolution – Binding Arbitration
As set forth in the Terms of Service (Collin County, Texas venue).
9. Governing Law
Texas law.
